room renovation progress

JUST PEPP has launched a short survey to understand how professionals involve residents in energy renovation projects in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, including social housing, low-income and long-term rental areas. With most future CO₂ reductions expected from renovating existing buildings, making these projects fair, inclusive and effective is crucial.

The survey focuses on real-world challenges and approaches to participatory energy renovations, where residents are engaged through dialogue, consultation or shared planning. Your answers will contribute to a white paper on “Challenges and opportunities of energy renovations in vulnerable neighbourhoods” to be published in Spring 2027 on the JUST PEPP website.

Duration: ~5 minutes

Participation is anonymous and voluntary.

Results will inform a white paper to be published on the JUST PEPP website in Spring 2027.

Who should participate:

Practitioners working directly with residents, including:

  • Housing providers

  • Local and regional authorities

  • Architects and engineers

  • Community organisations etc.
