The JUST PEPP project, co-funded by the Driving Urban Transitions Programme, has launched its official website, providing stakeholders with a rich array of resources to foster energy-positive futures. The platform aims to become your go-to resource for understanding and the double energy vulnerability issues and the socio-economic benefits of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) as well as the potentiality of their implementation in cities across Europe.

JUST PEPP under the tagline Empowering Energy Positive Futures for a Just Transition is committed to addressing energy and transport vulnerabilities while promoting inclusive, climate-neutral cities.

The website will feature:

  • Detailed insights from the four pilot projects currently conducted in Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands.
  • An accessible easy to use digital toolkit designed for local governments to explore and implement energy-positive solutions.
  • Podcasts and webinars for a broad community of stakeholders interested in Positive Energy Districts (PEDs).

Lead by Örebro University, Center for Research on Digitalization and Sustainability of the University of Inland Norway, Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development of the Utrecht University, Climate Alliance, White Arkitekter, JUST PEPP aims to contribute to the transition towards greener, fairer cities.
