Energy poverty affects some of the most vulnerable groups in our communities. Local governments play a crucial role in identifying those at risk and developing tailored local solutions. This interactive workshop aims to support municipalities in strengthening their capacity to address energy poverty by equipping them with the tools to recognise vulnerable groups, understand their needs, and design practical, targeted interventions. Through collaborative exercises, scenario building, and best-practice sharing, participants will explore a range of approaches — from building renovations to inclusive policy development. The workshop also provides an opportunity for municipalities to reflect on their current efforts and explore new ways to take meaningful action at the local level.
The event is organised under the umbrella of the Climate Alliance International Conference, by the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub and the CEESEN-BENDER, JUST PEPP and ASSERT projects.
All participants need to register by 30 June 2025.
