JUST PEPP is joining forces with RENOVERTY, RURENER, RURALITIES to co-organise the session “Equitable and sustainable rural development: the role of the clean industrial deal“. This event, organised under the European Sustainable Energy Week umbrella, aims to bring solutions for sustainable and equitable rural development, emphasising the importance of integrating social, economic, and environmental considerations and drawing upon the developments of the four initiatives.
In view of the new Commission and the new challenges posed by the policy priorities related to the Clean Industrial Deal, it is of upmost importance to prepare the ground for innovative solutions that leave no one behind. Bringing together experts with different backgrounds, this session will prepare the ground to ensure that the road ahead involves the often-forgotten rural areas and their communities, putting them at the centre of their own territories’ development.
